3 or 4 Night Christmas Celebration

Why not enjoy Christmas at the Dower House Hotel which is set in the picturesque market town of Knaresborough.

We are offering a three or four night festive programme that includes meals, wine with your meals, drinks receptions, games and competitions.

Christmas Eve - Monday 24th December
Arrive at The Dower House where the warmest welcome awaits you. Enjoy afternoon tea which will be served in the lounge in front of our log fire, setlle in and enjoy the hotel's beautiful surroundings.

Enjoy a cocktail reception to meet your hosts and fellow residents followed by a three course meal in our award winning restaurant.

After dinner you can stroll to the local churches or midnight mass and on your return hot chocolate and mince pies will await you.

Christmas Day
Enjoy a lavish full English breakfast before unwrapping your presents. Make the most of your free time and stroll around Knaresborough or take part in our walking treasure hunt, getting to know the local history, there are plenty of prizes to be won.

Drinks reception in the lounge from 12 noon then join the other festive goers for a relaxing Christmas Day lunch and a visit from Santa before watching the Queen's speech.

A sumptuous dressed buffet will be served in the Restaurant 48 throughout the evening allowing you to take it easy.

Boxing Day
Enjoy a lavish full English breakfast. Then the day is yours, why not take the opportunity to visit the Wetherby races or take a trip into Harrogate to tackle the sales.

Return for afternoon tea in the lounge and a light hearted quiz. Candlelit dinner in our Restaurant with entertainment by our table magician.

Thursday 27th
Take time over a relaxing full English breakfast, perhaps enjoy a visit to our health and leisure club, before heading out for the day at the local attractions, races or Christmas sales. Reception will be able to assist you with your requirements. Dinner will be served in our Restaurant 48 and the rest of the evening is yours to relax.

Friday 28th
Enjoy a leisurely English breakfast before bidding your new found friends a fond farewell and have a safe journey home. Or stay another night for just £45 per person, Dinner, bed and breakfast.

3 Night Prices

4 Night Prices

• Standard En-Suite Room: £420.00 pp
• Executive Room: £445.00pp
• Suite: £470.00pp

To confirm your reservation a deposit of £50.00 per person is required.

All prices are based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room.

Should you wish to extend your stay additional nights are available from £55.00 per person per night.

Single rooms are available at the same price.

Single occupancy supplement for double room is £100.00 per stay.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellations we require:

• 8 weeks or more notice there will be no charge.
• 4-8 weeks we will require 20% of the booking value.
• 4 weeks or less, we reserve the right to charge up to the total booking value.

All of these details are correct at time of going to press. Should circumstances dictate, we reserve the right to alter and/or substitute items and will endeavor to ensure that the quality is either similar or better. Please check if you have any concerns.

New year is coming and the stress levels are increasing, relax and let the Dower House do all the hard work.

30th December
Arrive at the Dower House in your own time, enjoy a glass of hot mulled wine and home-made shortbread beside our roaring fire in the bar or lounge, or even visit our leisure and health club. Join us for dinner in our award winning Restaurant 48 followed by our New Year quiz special.

31st December New Years Eve
Enjoy a relaxing full English breakfast then the choice is yours…spend the last day of the year relaxing ready for the celebrations or last minute Christmas sales shopping. Afternoon tea will be served in the lounge. The evening celebration starts with a champagne and canapé reception in the lounge followed by a sumptuous gala dinner in our award winning restaurant. Rais your glasses of champagne for Auld lang Syne then dance the night away until 1am with all your favourite disco requests. Bacon rolls available for those a little peckish from 12.30am

1st January
Start the year with style with a glass of bucks fizz with your breakfast/brunch 9-11am.
Spend the day recharging your batteries or take advantage of our location and explore the Yorkshire dales. Join us for a candlelit dinner in our restaurant.

2nd January
Have a leisurely breakfast before bidding your new found friends a fond farewell. Why not stay another night for just £40 per person dinner bed and breakfast.
